Atech, a company of the Embraer Group, is expanding its international footprint to Europe with the opening of a new office in Lisbon, Portugal. This expansion is being carried out in cooperation with Embraer Defense Europe and covers the Defense and Security sectors, as well as Air Traffic Management.
The company already participates regularly in Locked Shields, the annual cyber defense exercise organized by NATO's Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE), and now aims to further strengthen its presence in Europe with a physical location alongside Embraer Defense Europe.
This will be Atech’s first physical unit to consolidate operations abroad; however, technologies developed by the company are already in use across several countries in Asia and Latin America, in addition to Brazil.
“The Lisbon office will deepen Atech’s relationship with European companies and organizations. We already have a strong presence in NATO’s Locked Shields, and we are committed to increasing our engagement with strategic international partners as we pursue the expansion of our business in Europe,” said Rodrigo Persico de Oliveira, CEO of Atech.
